Rumors have been circulating for a while now that Apple is planning to create its own VR experience, however, the company hasn’t officially confirmed that anything VR related is in the works. However, that didn’t stop analysts from talking about the upcoming Apple VR capabilities, nor did it stop people from creating a technical concept for the hardware.
As much as I like to see it Saber won Come on Apple VR, it won’t happen. This title is owned by Apple VR competitor, Meta (Facebook), which took over the rhythm game in 2019 for the Oculus Quest 2. It’s a shame because it already turns out to be one of the Best games for Oculus Quest 2 since its release. However, here’s more realistic Titles we can realistically hope to see on Apple VR if they eventually come out.
8. Heaven is no man
HelloGames open world space exploration game had a rocky, bug-ridden start but has developed itself to the point of being one of the best action games-Adventure games Abroad. Players can travel to distant planets to visit procedurally generated worlds and species. Collect materials, ride creatures, and build your own space stations. You may even discover a planet or an animal that no other player has seen before, and if it does, you can name it.
This is basically a sandbox game where you can do whatever you want. However, developers often release free events and updates that allow you and other players to take part in quests that can reward you with great gear. It was available with PSVR and virtual reality headsets for PC since 2019 and it will be a great addition to Apple VR.
7. Immortal Vader
Few Star Wars games have such a strong storyline as Vader Immortal. Headphone-wearing players take on the role of a force-sensitive smuggler who lives in the post-Star Wars III: Revenge of the Sith era. Meaning, Palpatine issued Order 66, the Jedi Council was destroyed, and those with power abilities were purged.
Vader finds you and asks you to help you locate an ancient artifact capable of great destruction. This puts you on a journey where you will fight with your lightsaber and learn strength abilities. This works really well in VR where you will swing and fire your lightsaber at enemies or use your power-ups to lift and throw objects. You will even get a chance to try your skills against Vader himself. It is one of the Best Star Wars Games.
6. Superhot VR
Superhot VR is one of those very satisfying games that lets you play strategically while attacking the enemies. It is one of the best rated VR games due in part to the fact that it uses a unique mechanic where time only moves when you do. Use different weapons or even items around to defeat the enemies.
As this is an exciting survival game, players need to make sure that they have enough space to turn and move or else they will find themselves hitting the furniture. You’ll be able to reach it as you battle incoming enemies with just a few canisters of ammo to explode. Time your attacks carefully!
5. moose
Take a break from traditional shooters Enter the life of a little mouse named Quill in this platform puzzle game. A magical kingdom of creatures is being oppressed by a fire-breathing serpent by the name of Sarffog and players help Quill as she goes on a mission to save her uncle from his clutches.
In Moss, Quill communicates through American Sign Language to respond to your actions, provide hints, or help the story along. This game does an excellent job of making use of VR by allowing the player to discover hidden objects that can only be seen by standing in certain areas and provides some engaging puzzles that will keep you entertained.
4. Minecraft VR
Minecraft offers a huge world for players to do whatever they want. You can harvest materials, plant gardens, explore, fight zombie-like creatures, craft just about anything, tame animals, build structures, and much more. The base game already takes POV from a first-person perspective, so translating this into VR seemed like the appropriate next step.
With a VR headset, players can build huge structures, defeat enemies, play together, and spend hundreds of hours in the world they’re building. It would make no sense if it became available on the rumored Apple VR as well.
3. Elite Dangerous VR
Elite Dangerous has always been considered one of the must-have games for VR, so it makes sense that we’d love to see it on Apple VR too. Players spend most of the game time in the cockpit of a spaceship and can explore anywhere they wish. Doing different tasks earns you money and allows you to grow your reputation. You can get rewards, dig for materials, carry passengers, or resort to more illicit pursuits like space piracy – all while driving through beautiful stretches of space.
The integrity of the experience is preserved because the character doesn’t have to move, only the ship moves. So don’t feel the limit that your character doesn’t roam like in some other VR games.
2. Batman: Arkham VR
This intense story was the first virtual reality game I’ve ever played and the experience left me with a lasting impression that I think of a lot. Batman: Arkham VR begins by dropping you into Bruce Wayne’s body and making your way to the Batcave. There, she dresses up as Batman by donning the famous hoodie, arm braces, and other equipment. Then you get to admire yourself in the mirror. You really became Batman!
Things get very dark as the story progresses, with you, like Batman, re-live some of the worst moments of his life. Having said that, I am not suggesting this as a toy for young children.
You explore the locations where you fall to solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and pick up Easter eggs from the DC Universe. The only negative is that it is not very long. But if it was an Apple VR, I would gladly buy it again and try again.
1. Half-life: Alex
Get ready to shoot Headcrabs in VR with Half-life: Alex. People have been questioning Valve for another story from Half-Life for decades, and the only thing that came from these pleas was this amazing virtual reality game. Five years before the events of Half-Life 2, players take on the role of Alyx, a teenager who lives on Earth controlled by aliens. She and her father thwart efforts to bring together the alien race and are essentially humanity’s last hope.
The game offers about 12 hours of playing time, which is the longest aspect of virtual reality games. Plus, the acting is believable, the exploration doesn’t feel limiting, the graphics are rudimentary, the combat feels right, and the story is well worth playing through. I would argue that if only one game on this list could make it to Apple VR, it should be this one. You won’t want to miss it.
What about apples?
It’s hard to say for sure what kind of experience Apple VR will bring when it’s finally released, and whether it can become a truly popular contender. Oculus Quest 2. Only time will tell, but we can hope that at least these great games are playable on them. Perhaps Apple will offer exclusive games that cannot be found anywhere else. Anyway, we’re excited to see just what Apple VR will do if and when it comes out.
