National Cancer Institute selects ICF for Epidemiology and Genetics Research IDIQ

Fairfax, Virginia.And the August 15, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics (DCEG) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) has selected the ICF Global Counseling and Digital Services Division (NASDAQ):ICFI) as one of five winners of a new multi-award contract for Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) to provide clinical and epidemiological process support for studies and other research activities.

The value of the IDIQ awarded in the second quarter of 2022 is 320 million dollars All winners have a 10-year term, including a five-year base and five-year option period.

The ICF’s health research team and public health experts will support the DCEG programs, and approximately 150 epidemiologists, geneticists and biostatisticians, in three main areas: field preparation and study management, exposure assessment and clinical support. This will include the management of concurrent and interdisciplinary local and international epidemiological and genetic studies of varying volumes and complexity.
